2003 History Day

Alicia Bradley, Kasey Hockman and Michelle Nickolaisen represented Diamond Middle School at the recent Area History Day at Missouri Southern State College. Alicia, an eighth grader, and Kasey, a seventh grader, placed second with their presentation on the Selma riots and will represent DMS in the state History Day competition on Saturday, April 12. Sixth graders Chris Cupp and Garrett James, who plan to do History Day next year, went along as observers. The group was sponsored by Mr. Tom Danner.
