Bio: I am an eighth grade English teacher at South Middle School in Joplin, Missouri. This is my seventh year as a teacher. Prior to that, I was a reporter and editor for various southwest Missouri newspapers for more than 22 years, earning more than 100 journalism awards, including more than 30 for investigative reporting.
My first novel, "Small Town News" was published in September 2005 through IUniverse.
Interests: I enjoy reading, writing, 50s and 60s rock music and St. Louis Cardinals baseball.
